Another thing that probably will remember is the samir.
This was a shield against rain, made probably from upeh or kajang. If you stood it up, it'd probably reach your ankles, and it was slightly curved, with a grip bar on top. When it rained, you held itu over your back, your head probably held between the shield and the bar, which was held under your chin. And you held it there with your hands.
